  • Summer — late November to mid-December, resuming mid-January to mid-February (excluding Christmas and New Year break)

Overview

This is a full-time internship for undergraduates who want direct exposure to how a private equity firm sources, evaluates and executes investments. You will work alongside the investment team on live transactions — not simulated exercises.

The program is well established. You can see our current and past interns on the team page.

The internship is unpaid. For candidates who demonstrate exceptional performance and a genuine fit with the team, there is a pathway to a continuing paid role.

  • Attend meetings with management teams alongside the investment team

  • Analyse business models, profitability drivers and competitive positioning

  • Develop practical skills in financial analysis, deal screening and investor communication

What you will take away

  • A working understanding of how private equity firms evaluate and acquire businesses

  • Experience engaging directly with founders, management teams and advisers

  • Exposure to real investment processes from origination through to execution

Who we are looking for

  • Genuinely curious about how businesses work and what makes them valuable

  • Self-directed — sets priorities and follows through without being managed

  • Comfortable initiating professional conversations with founders and executives

  • Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Finance, Economics or a related field

  • Strong research, analytical and written communication skills
