We run two intakes per year, aligned with university breaks:
Winter — 22 June to 31 July (6 weeks)
Summer — late November to mid-December, resuming mid-January to mid-February (excluding Christmas and New Year break)
Overview
This is a full-time internship for undergraduates who want direct exposure to how a private equity firm sources, evaluates and executes investments. You will work alongside the investment team on live transactions — not simulated exercises.

The internship is unpaid. For candidates who demonstrate exceptional performance and a genuine fit with the team, there is a pathway to a continuing paid role.
What you will do
Research sectors and themes to identify Australian private companies with potential for long-term value creation
Conduct outreach to business owners and management teams via email, LinkedIn and phone, with disciplined follow-up
Attend meetings with management teams alongside the investment team
Analyse business models, profitability drivers and competitive positioning
Develop practical skills in financial analysis, deal screening and investor communication
What you will take away
A working understanding of how private equity firms evaluate and acquire businesses
Experience engaging directly with founders, management teams and advisers
Exposure to real investment processes from origination through to execution

Self-directed — sets priorities and follows through without being managed
Comfortable initiating professional conversations with founders and executives
Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Finance, Economics or a related field
Strong research, analytical and written communication skills
